With a hands-on, practical approach, the UI/UX Design specialization focuses on user-centered design to first understand users' needs in order to create effective, accessible and visually appealing digital interfaces. Students will acquire foundational knowledge to form their design decisions in terms of visual and navigation design, learning design processes to design UI/UX in creative and professional ways. Students will also learn research-based methods to evaluate their designs.

What You Will Learn

Graduates of this specialization will have a deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and will be capable of crafting interactive user-interfaces for a wide range of digital platforms in a creative way, whilst prioritizing accessibility, inclusivity and a seamless and pleasant user-experience.

Your Study Experience

Students will engage with methods to define user flows, structure information architecture, and create a visual design that not only fulfill the users' needs but are also pleasant to interact with. Students will engage in discussions to critically analyze design trends, acquire hands-on, practical experience on user evaluations and will work on improving the user journey and enhancing the overall user experience of interactive products.
